The Tapada de Coelheiros organic white springs from the Arinto and Roupeiro varieties, offering a vibrant and authentic expression of Alentejo. Aromas highlight grapefruit, lime and white‑fleshed fruit, wrapped in a subtle vegetal touch that adds freshness. On the palate it delivers a firm, bright acidity balanced by a creamy, voluminous texture. The blend of the two grapes yields a tense, precise profile with a persistent, slightly saline finish that extends the sense of freshness. Founded in 1981, Herdade dos Coelheiros is a family estate that has earned recognition for producing wines of indisputable quality both nationally and internationally, a tradition that began with the launch of the first wine labeled Tapada de Coelheiros in 1991. Located in the municipality of Arraiolos, known for its lacework that produces one of Portugal’s most beautiful traditional crafts – the famous Arraiolos rugs – the estate chose to honour the cultural identity of this land on its wine labels.
