This Terra Chama, hailing from vines boasting a respectable 21 years, is already a wine of considerable character – a true Dão expression. Hand-harvested grapes, gently crushed with a touch of passion, undergo a prolonged maceration that’s practically an art form, subtly infused with rosemary. The result is a wonderfully rounded wine, with tannins that have matured gracefully, finishing with a lingering sense of intrigue – ideal alongside a hearty beef roast.
