This Terra Chama Jaen Grande Reserva is a seriously well-structured wine, showcasing the characteristic strength of the Jaen grape. Harvested by hand with meticulous selection at the vineyard, it’s clear attention to detail is paramount. The ageing in both new and used French oak barrels has given it a wonderfully smooth texture and tannins that really linger on the palate. You get lovely notes of ripe cherry and blackberry, alongside a subtle eucalyptus – a clear nod to its origins on the Dão hillsides. Absolutely fantastic with grilled beef, I’d say!
