Maria da Assunção Foy inherited the estate in 1999 and began its restoration in 2000. Located on the left bank, south of the Douro River, about 10 km from Régua, the 2‑hectare vineyard enjoys milder winters, cooler summers and higher rainfall. From these conditions comes the wine that carries the name Terrus, produced from Duriense grape varieties vinified in the press. After fermentation it ages roughly twelve months in barrels, offering aromas of dark fruit and raisins, complemented by spices.
