The bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected for their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it always preserves the visual appearance that reflects their age. We select brands/regions that, by convention, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism that, even when sealed, is subject to evolving aromas over time. Accordingly, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, which will help release its natural aromas after years of closure.
