This Tojo Curtimenta is a delightful little surprise from Palmarinho – don’t let it fool you. The nose is immediately evocative of apricot and peach, hinting at a ripeness that’s perhaps a touch *too* generous, and it certainly delivers. The mouthfeel is strikingly powerful, pushing against the boundaries of the Arinto grape, a clear indication of the exceptional terroir of the Setúbal Peninsula. The lingering, salty finish, reminiscent of a river breeze, pairs beautifully with salty cheeses or a perfectly grilled fish.
