This Touriga Nacional is delightfully mellow, reminiscent of freshly picked red berries – a familiar favourite, of course – with a subtle hint of dark chocolate hinting at extended ageing. The Touriga Nacional lends it that characteristic elegance, while the Aragonez provides the structure needed to pair beautifully with a hearty bacalhau à Brás, or perhaps a slow-roasted meat. A well-balanced wine with smooth tannins, it’s a true reflection of the Douro’s soul.
