This “Tributo”, a wonderfully intimate 2,000-bottle production from Rui Reguinga’s Serra de São Mamede estate, is a real gem. The meticulous, hand-harvested winemaking, including a lengthy four-week maceration, delivers a complexity reminiscent of Burgundy’s best. Expect a rich, elegant palate with ripe red fruit notes and a lingering balsamic character, beautifully balanced by a vibrant acidity. Achieving a remarkable 18.5 points from Grandes Escolhas, this wine offers a long, satisfying finish – perfect alongside a hearty red meat dish or, perhaps, roasted lamb.
