This Vadio Rexarte, hailing from the Bairrada and conjuring images of a fairytale, certainly packs a punch. Luis Patrão has masterfully bottled the spirit of the Rexarte vineyard, with the Baga contributing a wonderfully vibrant fruitiness. Aged for 18 months in French oak and further refined in bottle, this 93-point beauty offers aromas of cherry and violet, alongside a remarkably creamy texture. The use of indigenous yeasts and hand-harvesting – a touch of romantic flair – ensures each bottle is a genuine celebration of tradition and quality. It’s particularly delightful with a hearty beef dish or a perfectly grilled fish.
