This Vale da Calada, hailing from the heart of the Alentejo, certainly has a story to tell – largely thanks to the robust Trincadeira. The Touriga Nacional adds a welcome touch of elegance, while the classic Arinto provides a refreshing counterpoint to the intensity of the Aragonez. It’s a quite bold combination, but one delivered with the precision that Verdelho, a consistently award-winning grape, so reliably provides. Absolutely lovely with black pork or a good roasted turkey breast – a little sophistication, you know?
