97 pts Revista de Vinhos – Highly complex and rich aroma, with nuances of cedar, dried tobacco leaves, coffee and a hint of iodine that is so characteristic of well‑aged Port wines. On the palate it shows great complexity, concentration and body, but with a balancing acidity. It offers notes of wood and spices, plus some toasted character. The finish is very fresh and seemingly endless.
