Crafted with meticulous care, this wine is fermented in 500‑liter French oak barrels capped with acacia, with 20% of the wine aged in new barrels and the remainder in 2nd and 3rd‑year barrels. Made from a selection of grapes of the Rabigato, Gouveio, and Arinto varieties, it delivers a delightful complexity. The wine is periodically bâtonné (stirred in the lees) during aging. The magic behind this creation is credited to the skilled winemakers Francisco Olazabal and Francisco Ferreira.
