It unfolds with a colour reminiscent of the Tagus reflecting the sunlight, and the nose bursts with white stone fruit like green almond and apple, punctuated by a delightful citrus lift and a hint of coconut – transporting you to a tiny tropical isle. Remarkably elegant, the acidity – recognised with a Grandes Escolhas award – lingers beautifully, underpinned by a lovely mineral character. Seriously, it’s fantastic with grilled fish and a squeeze of lemon.
