This Douro rosé certainly makes an impression – a vibrant, almost shocking pink. Initially, you’re greeted with ripe cherry aromas, reminiscent of the finest port wines, though with a deliciously rugged edge, likely thanks to the Tempranillo (Tinta Roriz) grapes. On the palate, the acidity is bright and lively, complemented by tannins that are surprisingly robust, giving it a structure that’s surprisingly bold. Perfect alongside some cured meats or grilled fish, really.
