This red comes from a single vineyard planted in 1932 in Peñafiel. Dominated by the Tinto Fino grape and with a touch of other red and white varieties such as Albillo, Moscatel, or Palomino, it’s a fine example of “natural and logical” viticulture—no herbicides, pesticides, or systemic chemicals—practiced by the Alfredo Maestro cellars. The result is a wine that faithfully expresses the harvest, the grapes used, and the terroir it comes from. It’s structured, tannic, and flavorful.
