Viña Cubillo hails from a property called Viña Cubillas, purchased by the López de Heredia family’s great‑grandfather along with the other vineyards of the house. This estate produces exceptional wines that are marketed each year as “estágio,” but, thanks to the excellent soil quality and the time spent aging in barrels, could be destined for wines classified as “Gran Reserva.”
