The Herdade Canal Caveira sits at the crossroads of two major wine regions, the Setúbal Peninsula and Alentejo, on the foothills of Serra de Grândola where it receives the maritime influence of the Atlantic Ocean, creating a unique microclimate. Spanning about 45 hectares, of which 25 are planted with vines, the estate focuses not only on viticulture but also on olive groves, orange trees, cork oaks, fig trees and pines. The vineyards are planted on sandy soils and feature around 18 different grape varieties, broadening the wine profiles and making them elegant, complex and persistent. It is a perfect terroir for producing quality wines that satisfy connoisseurs' expectations. (illustrative image only)
