The name Viña Gravonia comes from the vineyards that López de Heredia owns about 200 metres from the winery, which were acquired by the great‑great‑grandfather of the current owners of this Rioja winery. Historically, these wines were called Viña Zaconia when they were made as sweet wines from botrytis cinerea, and they were also named Sauternia, in clear reference to the French Sauternes. Today they are not sweet, and this unique 100 % Viura white stands out for its complex nose and a palate that offers freshness and evolution, finishing in an extremely long finish. Due to the exclusivity of this product, the availability of Viña Gravonia white is limited to three units per customer.
