This Zagaluz from Alentejo isn’t just a wine – it’s a bold statement. Crafted with a distinctly Mediterranean continental climate in mind, thanks to those schist and limestone soils, the winemaking is entirely hands-on, with complete grape skins removed and fermentation kept cool (24-26°C). Expect a burst of wild raspberry and black cherry aromas, gracefully underpinned by Touriga Nacional and balanced by the refreshing Cabernet Sauvignon. Seriously, it begs for a hearty beef roast – seriously good, I’d say.
