A historic Lamego estate with over three centuries of viticultural heritage, Quinta da Murta produces Douro DOC wines and a small range of Ports rooted in old field-blend vineyards on schist slopes above the Varosa valley. The visit is intimate and conversational rather than industrial — a tour through the historic granite lagares, vine-bordered walks of the property and tastings paired with regional cheeses and cured meats in the family library room.
