An exceptionally quality wine, produced solely from the Sercial grape, aged on wood chips in the traditional canteiro system for a minimum of 20 years. The nose is charming with notes of raisins, lemon peel, salted caramel, walnuts and a hint of honey. The palate is delicate, with a touch of sweetness and salinity, some acidity and a smooth, well‑defined finish. Pereira d'Oliveira is an independent Madeira wine producer managed by descendants of the founding owners. It is owned by three brothers, with Aníbal D'Oliveira and Luís D'Oliveira at the helm, representing the fifth generation of expertise in the production, marketing and export of Madeira. The company incorporates five local Madeira producers, all from families native to the island, with the oldest house dating back to 1820. The warehouses hold a substantial stock of old and rare wines that stem from the valuable wine heritage of the referenced companies, now adding value to Pereira D'Oliveira (Wines).
