This Kopke Colheita reveals an intense red colour with an orange-tinged rim. The nose is complex, with dried fruits and some spices. It is a sophisticated and delicate Port wine, with good structure, balanced acidity and a pleasant unctuousness, finishing long and persistent. C.N. Kopke is the oldest Port wine company. It was founded in 1638 by Cristiano Kopke and his son, Nicolau Kopke, who had come to Portugal as Consul of the Hanseatic League. With four centuries of success in the world of Port wine, the Kopke brand, acquired in 2006 by the Sogevinus group, is today a prestigious reference, maintaining the quality objectives that have guided it in the market over the years, and is especially recognised for its Colheita Ports, with high renown in the sector.
