Château Suduiraut, Premier Cru Classé in 1855, is one of the historic Châteaux of Sauternes. A rigorous selection, both in the vineyard and in the cellars, guarantees the winemaking of Château Suduiraut's wines, which represent the successful expression of this exceptional terroir. Certified as High Environmental Value, the estate comprises 91 hectares of vineyards on clay-sandy soil, whose stones capture the heat of the sun and allow the grapes to reach maturity more quickly. The chosen proportions of grape varieties are decisive in the unique profile of the wines. 90% of the grape varieties in Suduiraut's vineyards are Sémillon and 10% are Sauvignon Blanc. Sémillon is a traditional grape of the region and, when affected by noble rot, its structure on the palate is broad and brings much richness and sweetness to the wine. Sauvignon Blanc is full of citrus, white peach and exotic fruit aromas, giving the blend a touch of acidity, ensuring freshness and aromatic complexity. (image for illustrative purposes only)
