Holdvölgy 2011 Harvest Culture presents a seductive aroma of peaches, pears, pineapple, melon, apricot, and strawberry, complemented by sweet spice notes. On the palate it is fresh, fruity, and youthful. The Holdvölgy winery is located in Mád, in the heart of the Tokaj wine region, Hungary, just a few kilometres from the geographic centre of Europe. Mád occupies a special position in viticulture due to its unique soil, macroclimate, and microclimate, and has been documented since the 15th century as a hub for wine trade. Holdvölgy started early in viniculture and still retains sections of its infrastructure that date back to the 16th century. Always aiming to achieve success as an iconic Tokaj brand, Holdvölgy now covers 28 hectares of vines spread across the Mád basin, making it one of the largest vineyards in the region.
