Bella Elegance The Quinta de Bella, covering 50 ha (23 ha of vineyards), is fully committed to traditional sustainable viticulture and a dry‑farming philosophy. The grapes produced are concentrated, full of flavour, with an intoxicating mineral character that manifests in wines with countless aromatic layers and immense texture. The Bella Elegance range consists of single‑varietal wines focused on fruit and ready to drink as soon as they hit the market. The top‑tier Grand Bella and the intermediate Dom Bella lines reflect more structured wines, with oak maturation and great ageing potential. LOCATION: Portugal (IVV – Vinho de Portugal). Predominantly sourced from Quinta de Bella. TERROIR: Continental climate, influenced by the Serra da Estrela, benefiting from proximity to the Dão River. The vines are planted at a high density (6,250 vines ha⁻¹) on high‑quality granite soils known as “granite podre” or “granite nobre.” The vineyards are entirely dry‑farmed. VINIFICATION: Mechanical harvest. Gentle pneumatic pressing. Fermentation in temperature‑controlled stainless‑steel tanks. Light bâtonnage only in the first four months. No malolactic fermentation to preserve freshness. The wine remains in stainless‑steel tanks until bottling and is released to market only after a minimum of three months of bottle ageing for optimal harmony. Allergen information: Contains sulphites.
