Belondrade Les Parcelles is a unique creation of the Belondrade family, establishing itself as one of Spain’s great white wines. Produced in extremely limited quantities—only 2,149 bottles in the 2021 vintage—it is distinguished by long barrel ageing and a nearly artisanal approach, making it highly sought after by collectors and aficionados of fine wines. BELONDRADE Les Parcelles is the wine Didier Belondrade dreamed of creating in Spain. **Viticulture** As Didier Belondrade has always defended, “wine begins in the vineyard,” and this story starts with the discovery of two exceptional plots, distinct yet perfectly complementary. La Cruz, a vineyard over 50 years old, sits on soils dominated by rolled pebbles and clay, while Alameda, a 70‑plus‑year‑old container vineyard, is planted on markedly sandy soils. Both are located a short distance from the cellar, in one of the region’s most prestigious terroirs. **Vinification** The intuition of Didier Belondrade and Marta Baquerizo proved itself in the first harvest: the purity of the floral must required time to reveal all its depth and potential. After eighteen months of barrel maturation, the first bottles are bottled and then stored in the cellar, extending the ageing to achieve greater complexity, elegance, and aromatic precision. **Harvest 2021** The 2021 harvest was marked by well‑distributed rainfall between autumn and spring, a particularly dry summer, and a cycle finish without precipitation. Winter was relatively mild, with few negative temperatures, while spring arrived later than usual, with reduced frost risk and favourable rainfall for balanced budbreak. Harvesting of the La Cruz and Alameda plots took place on 11 and 18 September 2021. BELONDRADE Les Parcelles 2021 emerges as a wine without limits or concessions, released only when the family feels it has reached its ideal point of evolution.
