Born and raised in Estremoz, at the heart of the Alentejo wine country, he learned from a tender age to live and work in the fields, in his parents’ vineyard, absorbing the small and great secrets of the vine from the elders. Today he is regarded as one of the most reliable and promising producers in Alentejo, with a range of alluring and serious wines that are modern in style and form yet deeply Alentejan in character.
