Bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is consistent with their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always preserves the visual appearance inherent to their age. We conduct a selection of brands and regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism that, even within a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, given that it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, as this will help liberate its natural aromas after so many years sealed.
