The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is to be expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, in general, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism that, even within a bottle, is exposed to time, and its aromas are subject to different evolutions. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after many years of closure. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure you do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which a typical old wine tends to produce. (illustrative image only)
