You are dealing with a producer that has risen from the ashes. He has come to stay and write a new story, but the house’s history is old, dating back to the 19th century when it was built. Great wines have been born here, from these vines. Who could forget the P63, once vinified by José Maria da Fonseca? Fate had left it “abandoned” in the world of wine, leaving only a faint memory of the great wines that once emerged from there. Fate also brought a new owner—someone of good taste, extreme dedication to making and doing it well. Thus the new Casa da Passarella was born, ready to write another chapter in the story of this house and in the Dão region. The wines are excellent, made with rigor and a strong desire to do the best.
