Vinification: Grapes from the Douro Superior sub-region, notably from Quinta da Leda and growers with vineyards preferably facing north and at higher altitude. After destemming and gentle crushing, the grapes are sent to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place. During this phase, gentle macerations at controlled temperature are carried out. During the period between alcoholic fermentation and the final lot production, the wines undergo numerous tastings and analyses to refine their quality. After the stages in stainless steel and cement tanks and after a careful selection of wines, the final lot is produced. To preserve the highest quality, it is subjected only to a slight filtration and clarification before bottling. Suggestions: Ideal for pairing with meat dishes. As a very gastronomic wine, it can also accompany white meats or oven‑baked fish. Ready to drink. It benefits from bottle aging for 2 to 3 years. However, it remains at its best for several years. Keep the bottle horizontal, away from light and heat. It is natural for sediment to form in the bottle. From the second year after bottling, it is recommended to place the bottle upright the night before and decant before consumption. Serve between 16 °C‑18 °C.
