The bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Cellar is obliged to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, normally, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even inside a bottle, its aromas are subject to different evolutions. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years sealed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure to do it patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which an older wine tends to produce. (illustrative image)
