The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected for their age. The National Cellar stores all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always preserves the visual appearance that comes with age. We select brands and regions that, in general, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we point out that wine is a living organism that, even when sealed, is subject to time, and its aromas evolve. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, since it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, which helps release its natural aromas after so many years closed.
