The bottles of older wines may show dust or damaged labels, which is to be expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the proper temperature and humidity, yet it always strives to preserve the visual appearance that comes with age. We select brands and regions that, on the whole, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. Still, we want to remind you that wine is a living organism that ages over time, and even inside a bottle its aromas evolve. Accordingly, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand; this helps release its natural aromas after many years of closure.
