Old wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Cellar ensures all wines are stored at the correct temperature and humidity, but it deliberately preserves the visual appearance that comes with age. We select brands and regions that typically display distinct characteristics in old‑wine tastings. However, we note that wine is a living organism that, even within a bottle, undergoes evolving aromas over time. Consequently, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine aerate beforehand to release its natural aromas after so many years of closure.
