Château Changyu Moser XV – The second wine from the château represents the latest generation of top wines from China. – 2016 was a truly fantastic year in Ningxia. – The 2016 vintage is richer, with more flavour and tannins than the other great year of 2015. – Vineyards are aged between 12 and 18 years. – 100 % Cabernet Sauvignon (small, healthy berries with brown seeds and 24 °Bx). – The wine is aged for 18 months in seven different French barrels, medium toasted, most of which are in their second or third use, in the château’s cellar. – Cultivation, fermentation and blending are supervised by Lenz M. Moser, Chief Winemaker of Château Changyu Moser XV, who spends the entire harvest period in Ningxia – a total of five visits to the château, amounting to about three months in total per year.
