The bottles of the older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected for their age. The National Wine Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with age. We select brands and regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of vintage wines. However, we want to remind you that wine is a living organism; even while sealed, its aromas evolve over time. Accordingly, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality because it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate first, which helps liberate its natural aromas after many years of closure.
