Descrição

Bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is to be expected given their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We carry out a selection of brands/regions that, by default, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we advise that wine is a living organism that, even when sealed in a bottle, its aromas are subject to various evolutions over time. Consequently, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, as this will help release its natural aromas after many years of being sealed. If you decide to decant the wine before serving, be sure to do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which an aged wine tends to develop. (Illustrative image only)
