Old wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. Garrafeira Nacional commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that, in general, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we want to remind you that wine is a living organism that ages over time, and even while sealed in a bottle, its aromas can evolve. Consequently, Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate first; this helps release its natural aromas after so many years of closure.
