The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected for their age. The National Cellar is obliged to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to maintain the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that normally reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas evolve differently. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, given that it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed.
