Bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is natural given their age. The National Wine Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always opts to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that, by standard, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even while sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve in various ways. Therefore, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, given that it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, as this helps release its natural aromas after so many years sealed.
