Château La Lagune produces a 3rd Growth (Grand Cru Classé) of Bordeaux, a blend of the emblematic grape varieties of the Médoc, and over the years it has offered wines recognized for their balance, refinement, and elegance. The vineyard of La Lagune covers 80 hectares, where effort and dedication come together to implement an environmentally friendly viticulture based on organic and biodynamic farming practices. The official transition to organic agriculture began in 2013, with certification expected for the 2016 harvest. This natural approach, adapted to each plot, plays a fundamental role in the quality of the wines, allowing the fruit to express all the complexity and finesse of the terroir and transferring it to the wine, thanks to patient and precise vinification and barrel maturation using the traditional method.
