Let’s just say this Château Latour doesn’t hold back. Those 18 months in new French oak are delivering a seriously silky texture – you can practically feel the cedar kissing the palate. The classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Sauvignon certainly retains that elegant heritage, and it’s no surprise it scooped a Decanter Gold. Honestly, it’s a beautiful wine, and would pair wonderfully with roasted duck, or, if you’re feeling particularly indulgent, simply savoured under a starry sky.
