The bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal given their age. Garrafeira Nacional is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it always preserves the visual appearance inherent to each bottle’s age. We select brands/regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of vintage wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism; even sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Accordingly, Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held liable for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, which helps release its natural aromas after so many years sealed.
