The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is to be expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always opts to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We carry out a selection of brands/regions that, normally, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. In this way, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure you do it patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which an aged wine tends to create.
