The Grafite red is an elegant interpretation of a Douro classic, combining expressive fruit with subtle notes of aging in French oak. The name Grafite pays tribute to the artistic signature of its winemakers and to their natural approach to crafting the wines. The aromas highlight black plums, ripe cherries, wildflowers and spices. On the palate it is smooth and velvety, with fine tannins, well-defined dark fruit and balanced acidity that extends the harmonious, enveloping finish. In a sector dominated by players rooted for centuries, Churchill's, only 36 years old, has established itself and distinguished itself through the exclusive production of premium-category wines with a very distinct identity. It was this identity, an individual and unique style, that John Graham sought to bring to the world of Port wine when he founded the company in 1981.
