This Cruz Decanter is a real journey for the senses – that topázio note hints at intensely ripe fruit. You’ll pick up notes of wild honey and crystallized figs, underpinned by a lovely vanilla from its extended barrel aging, and a lingering dry fruit character. On the palate, it’s remarkably smooth and inviting, with a delicious caramel influence reminiscent of the finest Douro brandies, finishing with a subtly spiced warmth. Wonderful with a strong, aged cheese or perhaps a decadent chocolate mousse.
