Dez Riscos Reserva Tinto is a red wine from the Douro, Portugal, produced by BEST OF DOURO. It is a blend of the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca. Vintage 2021. Life is about playing the cards you're dealt well. Pick up the cards, gather your friends, switch off your phone, tip your hat and savour this wine... It shows a ruby colour. On the nose, ripe black fruit, rockrose and floral notes. On the palate, full-bodied, with firm tannins and good freshness. It pairs well with grilled red meats, roast kid goat and cured cheeses. Serve at 16–18 °C. At 13.5% vol., it comes in a 0.75 L bottle. To get the most from this red, open the bottle a few minutes before serving and pour it into a wide-bowled glass, which lets the aromas breathe. For younger, more concentrated wines, a brief decanting helps soften the tannins. Store the bottle on its side, in a cool, dark place free from temperature fluctuations. Once opened, reseal the bottle and keep it in the refrigerator to preserve the aromas.
