The new French oak has delivered beautifully, lending notes of toasted almonds, ripe plums, and a hint of dark chocolate – quite the combination! It’s got a robust structure, perfectly balanced with a vibrant acidity and tannins that add a touch of elegance. As the 18.5/20 awarded by Grandes Escolhas suggests, it’s got ageing potential, and frankly, it deserves a special occasion. Seriously delicious with a hearty steak or aged cheeses.
