We usually choose brands and regions that perform well in old‑wine tastings. Wine, however, is a living organism that continues to evolve over time—even inside a bottle, its aromas change. Therefore Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the quality of these aged wines. We recommend opening the bottle and letting it breathe first to release its natural aromas after so many years closed; avoid decanting, as it may be too aggressive for old wines.
